What Spine Nudge does
Spine Nudge watches your seated posture through AirPods head motion and nudges you the moment you slouch. Streaks, badges, and a live Vitality score help you build a habit of sitting well. There is no camera, and posture is processed on your Mac.
AirPods compatibility
Spine Nudge needs AirPods with head-motion tracking. It works best on newer H2-chip models. On older H1-chip AirPods it still works, but motion updates can pause while you are on a phone or video call, so nudges may stop until the call ends. Spine Nudge cannot promise a nudge in every meeting.

Frequently asked questions
Does Spine Nudge use my camera?
No. It reads AirPods head motion only. There is no camera or microphone involved in posture tracking.
Where does my data go?
Posture and motion are processed on your Mac. Your streaks, stats, and settings sync through your own private iCloud account, which we cannot read. More detail is in our privacy policy.
Do I need AirPods?
Yes. Spine Nudge tracks posture through AirPods head motion, so a compatible pair is required. See the table above for what to expect from each model.
Which Macs are supported?
Spine Nudge is a macOS app. The current system requirements are listed on the App Store product page.
Why did my nudges stop during a call?
On H1-chip AirPods, the system can pause head-motion updates while a call is active. Posture tracking resumes automatically when the call ends. H2-chip models are not affected in the same way.
